Hyperloop One: Introduction:

Hyperloop one which is also known as Hyperloop Technologies is Los Angeles, California, USA based high-speed transport company which is founded by Rob Lloyd in 2014. This is a leading company which is adopting a new way of transportation. Company plans to use Hyperloop for moving passengers / cargo from one location to another location ranging a speed from 620 mph i.e 1000 Km/hr. The total cost for travelling through such Hyperloop will be a fraction as said by them.

The concept of Hyperloop transportation was introduced and named by Tesla’s Elon Musk in Aug 2013.

Architecture / Concept of Hyperloop One:

It uses a linear electric motor to accelerate and decelerate  an electromagnetically levitated pod through a low-pressurized tube or vessel.  This will travel at a speed of 620 mph i.e. 1000 km/hr. The entire system is fully automated having on demand departures for every 10-20 seconds from each destination. Right now, Hyperloop One is developing passenger and cargo system in United States of America (USA), United Arab Emirates (UAE), Finland, Switzerland, Russia and India. The company as a goal to deliver their expected Hyperloop in a operation by 2020.

Today, In New Delhi, India, Hyperloop company was present for event ‘Vision for India’ discussing about how transportation innovation could change the passengers and freight for the shipping market.

2. (Mumbai to Chennai) : Mumbai-Pune-Kolhapur-Hubballi-Tumkuru-Bengaluru-Chennai : 60 mins

3. (Bengaluru to Thiruvananthapuram) : Bengaluru-Coimbatore-Kochi-Thiruvananthapuram : 40 mins

4. (Mumbai to Kolkata) : Mumbai-Mangaluru-Chennai-Hyderabad-Kolkata : 220 mins
